Seriously, if I had a little kid, the Last Thing I would want would be to have them sitting in food - even for a short time. They're so susceptible to rashes from contact with wet things as it is. They spill a little juice down there, then you let them wander off and don't see it ... fruit punch stains across the carpet.

The Wupzey is not intended for older children who deliberately throw food. It was made for children who are LEARNING to eat by themselves. (6months to 18mo) depending on the child. It's for when they want to eat fingerfoods by themselves but don't have the dexterity to get all the food into their mouths, which then ends up all down the front of them.

The mom who invented it made one for herself to solve her problem and it really helped. It wasn't made to rip off parents. It was made to help. $19.99 is a very reasonable price for something that saves parents alot of time and energy.

Every product can not be perfect for each person. However, this product helps to solve a problem and it works. I used the wupzey for about 8 months with my child and I think it's fabulous.

Seriously? From the moment my daughter sat in a highchair food & utensils were flying everywhere but straight down on her lap. Just another thing that new parents will think they can't live without and they'll use it for about a day and realize they were ripped off.

I'm sure most babies could find their way around it. Some precocious gifted children might even intentionally slip their mashed brussels sprouts in the bag while Mom isn't looking.
