Tiger Woods and his wife Elin welcomed their baby daughter on Monday morning. Sam Alexis Woods is the first child for the couple, and Woods wrote on his website that “Both Elin and Sam are doing well and resting peacefully.” This was a nice consolation prize for Woods who, less than twenty-four hours earlier had finished second at the U.S. Open on Father’s Day.
Woods had said that he would miss the upcoming British Open, which starts on July 19, if it interfered with the birth of his child. It looks like he won't have to now.
Although, I wonder how hard it is to sink a putt on only two hours of sleep and with a Baby Bjorn strapped to your chest?
