I consider myself, then, vindicated - acquitted of the allegedly heinous fashion-crime that is Felony Wearing Of Birkenstock Sandals (acquittal on basis of celebrity style precedent after-the-fact).
(I would also feel, like, totally fashion-forward, but for the fact that, taken as a whole, this particular look - Birks and purple horizontal stripes and what look to be GWG shorts - went out about twenty years ago. 1987 is not a good year to revisit, Naomi. Hormones are no excuse.)
