Russell Crowe to Give Parenting Advice

Posted by Whit Honea

Crowe has two kids.

Fresh off the success of his, How To Drink Heavily and Destroy Inanimate Objects series, Russell Crowe is now adding his sage wisdom to a DVD on parenting that will be given to all new parents in Australia.  What's up with that? In the United States we don't even get formula anymore, let alone the insight of an Oscar winner.  All we get is a baby.

According to the Herald Sun:

Australian Family Association Victorian president Angela Conway said Crowe was an authentic role model for new parents despite his bad boy past.

"He is a doting dad," Ms Conway said. "What parents need is practical advice that is authentic and realistic.

"They need to know it's workable, realistic and practical, and if this helps to do this, it's great."

The interactive, five-hour DVD is a guide to parenting children for the first five years. It covers basics about child health, development and care, as well as information about family management and available resources.

5 hours? They can watch all of the Look Who's Talking movies in that time, and what better source on the needs of babies, than the babies themselves?

Still, free is free.

This post is about Russell Crowe and a chip off the old block, his son Charlie. This picture? I have no idea, but how could I not use it?
