TomKat has an understanding. It's an understanding that we all kind of assumed already. They don't share a bed. In fact, they don't even share a bedroom. They've taken it a step further than Lucy and Desi, and actually have his and hers master bedrooms. This actually feeds well into something I'm tinkering with for tomorrow (Stay Tuned!).
According to Star Magazine, "At first, it was because Katie was Catholic and single, and they were only dating.
It was the proper thing to do. Now that they
are married, they don’t feel the need to alter the arrangement. Tom has
his master bedroom, and Katie has hers.”
Oh, to be young and Catholic again.
I did a little research on the internets and noticed that some sites claim that married couples didn't start sharing a bed until about 50 years ago. Still other sites are suggesting that separate bedrooms are making a comeback, due to snoring apparently. I'm not sure I buy that. Smells of beards and open marriages to me, but more on that later.
