I'm so confused. A Toronto-based gossip columnist is reporting that the sparks were a-flyin' between Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon at the Toronto International Film Festival press conference for their film Rendition. But wasn't it just, like, last week that the Internet was buzzing over the story that Jake has been dating actor Austin Nichols for years and that the two are expecting a baby through a surrogate? And, also, that Jake and Austin had been busted for some backseat Californication with a little moo goo gai pan on the side? Gay, straight, straight, gay - I'm having trouble keeping track.
Whether Jake is gay or straight is his own business, of course. I just want to know whether I have shot with him (you know, in that alternate parallel universe where my husband happily agrees to embrace polyandry.) I can take Reese, I figure, but that Austin guy? Too hot. I wouldn't stand a chance.
