Granted, the year started off a little rocky for Mel B., what with babydaddy Eddie Murphy repudiating her child and all. But the magic of Gloria Allred's Bloom County hair prevailed, and things have really turned around. Good things come in sevens - lucky sevens - for Mel.
First, her daughter Angel Iris Murphy (cough) Brown is healthy and gorgeous. Next, Mel seems to be in happily in love with Stephen Belafonte, former BFF, now husband, regardless of what the world seems to think of him. Third, step-daughter Gisele is still young enough to be sweet. Fourth, Stephen is carrying what looks like the magic pink box of pastries, which she can eat because she's probably still breast feeding. The fifth good thing, most likely related, is that the baby weight is flying off of her.

Big Lucky Seven: She gets to dance with Maks!
That's right, Maks Chmerkovskiy, the hottest of hot Dancing With The Stars male partners. And Mel gets to die in his arms over and over each week. I'd say things are working out just fine for Mel.
