On the stage at Comix Wednesday night, Rosie O'Donnell started off by saying "When I was fired by Barbara Walters ...," and it was the first time she didn't put that spin on it that it was a mutual agreement. I say, "Count your blessings Rosie, that show blows."
She said some nice things about Barbara Walters, including
"But she paved the way for women," Rosie allowed. "She interviewed Presidents ... "
"Like Abraham Lincoln," snapped Roseanne Barr, who was on stage alongside O'Donnell.
Here's the thing. When Ro had her own show, I liked her. She did a lot of good for children's charities and likely still does. When she engaged childish Donald Trump into that public feud where they shot insults back and forth, I was already losing respect. But I can forgive and forget, Rosie is out for the greater good and who can argue with that?
The View has got to be the second most asinine show on t.v. right now.* I can't watch all that crosstalk without getting a migraine and Hasselbeck's constant stupidity infuriates me and many other moms. I don't know how it stays on the air and how people can honestly say they enjoy it.
*The most asinine show on t.v is Grey's Anatomy. I tried to get into it at the very beginning of Season One but it's so stressful and the characters are so whiny, it was like watching pre-school for lemmings. Immature decisions repeated over and over. Nuff said.
