Britney Spears, aching to show the world that her stellar talents don't just lie in parenting and lip synching, attempted to branch out by applying for a job as a bartender last week. You heard me.
TMZ is reporting that Spears, after having checked into the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica on Thursday, requested an application to work as a bartender in the hotel's 'Cameo Bar.' Gimme More booze, y'all.
Seems like an odd job choice for someone who's trying to regain custody of her children and has been ordered to undergo regular drug and alcohol testing. It would be like putting Michael Jackson in charge of the Vienna Boys Choir, or giving me a job as a purse-tester at Bloomingdales.
I guess Spears has had it with fame, and just wanted a job that involved copious amounts of alcohol, pandering to others, verbal abuse by the public and a small paycheck. If that's the case Brit, we have a job waiting for you here at FameCrawler.
