The end is near! An ABC spokesperson announced that Ms. Hasselbeck will go on maternity leave in early November. Finally we'll get a reprieve from the daytime TV version of Ann Coulter.
You know, a lot of women choose to care for their children full time, especially when they have more than one. No one would judge Elisabeth -- in fact I think we'd all applaud her -- if she wants to spend the next few years with her babies. In fact, I think if she wants to be a good conservative mom, and work in the home until the kids are off to college, then that will be just fine with a lot of us.
It's a special time in her children's lives. She should be there. The View will go on and so will we. Gladly.
