Check these boots out, and tell me: WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS?  This is right up there with fingerless gloves, those half jackets, vest coats (you know the puffy ones that don't keep your arms warm?) and Scientology.  I bet they are called Couture.  Do you know what couture means?  Overpriced crap.  See: Victoria Beckham's closet.

fingerless gloves are NOT in the same category! fingerless gloves are ridiculously practical (try living in amsterdam, or anywhere cold, riding bikes and answering your mobile, picking your nose, etc. in freezing weather with gloves on? not possible), but these shoes SUCK!
