Philip Seymour Hoffman is looking like a zombie without the aid of a costume. Speaking of costumes, that's his son Cooper dressed as Spiderman. His mom is Hoffman's girlfriend Mimi O'Donnell who is a costume designer. My first thought was that a costume designer should be able to do something better than an off-the-rack Spidey suit, but then I remembered that I too have a 4-year-old and that there is no such thing as compromise once their heart is set on an outfit. That said, it's actually pretty cool of the couple to let Cooper be a kid and do his thing.
You'll notice Cooper's pal is Superman. Don't these kids know not to mix their Marvel with their DC? Cats and dogs, man. Cats and dogs.
