Britney Spears' mother, Lynne Spears has a book coming out May 11th and according to inside sources, one of the shocking revelations in the book, has Lynne claiming that her daughter's breakup with Justin Timberlake was "orchestrated" near the end for maximum publicity.
Star magazine claims that Spears' book, Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World is indeed a tell all book, while OK! magazine says that the book isn't a tell all book but more about the life of a stage mom and how that affects a family. Britney's clinger on friend, Sami Lufti, says that the book is more of a religious and spiritual book and that Britney has no worries about it and is "fine with it." Um the religious and spiritual side of whoring your daughter out? And then writing about her trashy ways to make money? Oh okay. Right. Trust me, I'm no Britney Spears fan but come on, her mom is bordering on being no better than Brit is!
As for the claim about Britney and Justin's relationship, it's said that the breakup was "planned" near the end so they could milk all the publicity that they could from it. "One thing that Lynne could reveal is the shocking truth behind Britney's three year romance with Justin Timberlake, which ended in 2002, when she was 20."
"Toward the end, their relationship was used for show", says a family insider. "They were together for the hype they caused in public, although Britney did have puppy love for Justin. Their breakup was scheduled and went down the way their agents and publicists wanted it to, without regard for Brit's feelings. The whole thing brought in alot of attention and money-just the way it was supposed to." If that's indeed true, wow. Anything to make a buck right Lynne?
