I guess Mel Gibson learned the hard way that hate begets hate. His stock has sunk since his anti-Semitic, drunken tirade and when his face was placed on the Jumbotron at a recent Lakers' game he was soundly booed by the L.A. faithful, fashionably late and tragically hip as they are.
Personally, I think the guy is an ass, but I feel for his kid. That kind of fan-participation can't be fun for either of them.
