Brad Pitt has dropped out of the movie State of Play, and could be facing a lawsuit.
Apparently, if Universal Pictures can't recast Brad's part by the time shooting is set to begin on November 29th, they will consider bringing a lawsuit against him. Word is that the producers fear that a failure to recast will prompt other members of the cast - which includes Edward Norton, Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman and Robin Wright Penn - to withdraw and that this will put the project in jeopardy.
Brad reportedly dropped out of the project because of script concerns, which cannot be addressed because of the writers' strike.
