To help promote her latest flop album, Blackout, Britney Spears is shooting the video for her second single release, Piece of Me.
And because we're talking about Britney Spears, she's putting a lot of effort into it. She's going to spend TWO HOURS shooting a video and scenes that would normally take days, but wow, she must be GOOD. Brit has scheduled visitation with her sons today, Sean Preston and Jayden James, so her only window of opportunity is, between 12pm and 2pm. It's great that she's putting her sons first (for a change), however, why not do the video on another day, when she doesn't have the kids? I don't pretend to understand the crazies.
The video production started at 8am at the Hollywood Athletic Club on Sunset Blvd. with Wayne Isham directing. He also did Brit's video for I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman, in 2002. The new video will feature 15 dancers and a body double for Spears. The "story" behind the video is about Spears being chased by the paparazzi. Hopefully she doesn't cause any more accidents! Oh and Britster dances on a bar and runs down some stairs. I love originality, 'cause we've never seen that sort of stuff in music videos before. Yawn.
