It ain't easy on the street for a comedian without a writing staff.  Jon Stewart is apparently calling someone that cares, and that's sweet.  

I don't know what the big deal is with needing writers for his show.  As long as George Bush is in office he does all the work.  

I suppose Stewart could just show YouTube clips for 30 minutes.
