Canadian country singer, Paul Brandt, 35, and his wife Elizabeth Peterson are expecting their first child together.  Paul said: "We just announced today that we're expecting.  It's rockin' my world, and my friends say it's going to change everything."  Oh yes Paul, life will never be the same!  It will be better than you could ever imagine though!

Brandt loves kids but knew he wasn't ready to be a dad until now.  "Back when I was working at the hospital, I would take care of up to five babies at a time.  And I remember I loved that experience, but I knew I wasn't ready.  Now I feel like I'm more ready.  In fact, I know I'm ready to jump off that cliff."  No need for cliff jumpin' dude, it'll be okay! 

Their baby is due next May.
