Desperate Housewives star, Teri Hatcher is being sued.
Hatcher is being sued for $2.3 million dollars by a cosmetic company, Hydroderm, which claims she broke a contract by promoting a rival lip gloss. *Gasp* Who knew there was such nastiness between lip glosses?
Court documents released today, accuse the 43 year old actress of endorsing products of another firm, City Cosmetics, despite having a contract with Hydroderm since November 2005. Hydroderm claims that Hatcher posed for photos and talked up the rival company's products in interviews, specifically "praising a City Cosmetics lip gloss which competes with Hydroderm's own lip product."
Reps for Teri Hatcher refused to comment on the matter. Isn't that always the way? Guess they gotta decide which way to spin it!
