Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, has spoken out publicly against celebrity who come out with their own clothing and fragrance lines. All of them, that is, except her.
"There are so many - and I hate the word celebrities -
clothing lines and fragrances, and most of them have nothing to do with it," she says in an upcoming issue of Elle Magazine. She, however, is the real deal - and she is, she says, so authentically fashion because she is actually a gay man. "I'm
so camp! I'm a gay man trying to get out!"
First of all, I didn't know that Victoria Beckham was a gay man, but now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense. Explains a lot about her look, and her marriage.
Secondly, I didn't know that she was different from other - and I hate this word too - celebrities, so different that her clothing line and fragrances have nothing of the taint of fame-whoredom and money-grubbery about them. Her products are special, people, and she wants you to know that so that you can go out buy them - her fragrance, Intimately Beckham (gag) and her line of jeans for Rocawear - right away.
Maybe her products are so special because they're designed and marketed by a gay man masquerading as tarty pop-star-cum-soccer-wife. You gotta wonder, though, what such a character's preferred 'intimate' fragrance smells like. Jock straps and silicone?
