Well hell's bells, she must be!
Britster fancied a tacky blue lighter at a gas station, and took it. Without paying for it. I think that's stealing. And apparently Britney thinks so too because she looked into the cameras and said, "I stole something! Oh, I'm bad!"
The manager of the store, Sham Bahia, thought it was funny and just laughed off the incident. Suuuure, let's encourage Spears and her out of control behavior.
He said to Usmagazine.com, "If I see her, I'm going to ask her for the money! She's a thief. I don't know if she wanted the lighter or just wanted to make a story."
However, Spears is being spared (which, hello, if it was me or you, we'd be charged, even for such a small item!) because a photographer went back to the store Saturday and paid for the lighter.
"[The manager] didn't want me to pay for it at first," Shane Partridge told Us. "I told him it was no bother. I just felt like I should, you know?"
Girlfriend must be short on cash right or missing some marbles? Sure, it's only a lighter, worth $1.39 (that's not the point though), but what kind of statement is she trying to make? I would think that someone who has lost custody of her boys, would at least try to come off as a decent person. Brit just doesn't care!
