Nobody Thinks More of Lil Wayne than Lil Wayne

Posted by Whit Honea

In a recent interview rapper Lil Wayne, aka, Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was asked about whatever and this was his response, "Darling, I don't care what nobody think. Talk to me like you talk to Martin Luther King or Malcolm X. You're not going to ask him about what he thinks about what somebody said about him. You ask him about his greatness, and his greatness only."

Um, okay. First of all, what kind of rapper calls people "Darling?" Second, he does realize that Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X actually played huge, important roles in both society and history, right? Granted, I don't listen to much Lil Wayne, but I can't imagine his lyrics are on par with King's 'Dream' speech. I can't imagine they're on par with KRS-One for that matter.

Ha ha that's real funny Autumn. If you don't know the culture then you shouldn't crack. I'm a really big Lil Wayne fan and I'm always on the blogs and always on NewLilWayne.com
