It's time for David Letterman to get off the couch, kiss Oprah goodbye, and get back to work. Letterman, being the big cheese that he is, was able to go around the stalled negotiations in the writer's strike and work a deal with the WGA, of which he is a member. That's the benefit of owning your own show and production company. Nice move, Dave.
Over at his old haunt, NBC, Leno and Conan will also be returning to work, but since they don't own squat they may have to pull a Carson Daly and cross the line. I can't imagine that either of the hosts are exactly thrilled about that.
