Timabland has unveiled to the world, Madonna's new single.  '4 Minutes to Save the World' was played to a crowd at a Philedelphia Christmas concert gig.

The track has some hip-hop influence and also features Justin Timberlake.  The single is reportedly to be the lead song from Madonna's new album, which is slated for a 2008 release.  Previously, there have been 2 other songs that have been leaked onto radio-'Candy Shop' and 'The Beat Goes On', which was played by Madge's friend, Larry Lick earlier this month.

Reports were that Madonna's new album was to be titled 'Licorice', but those claims have been denied.  Guess we'll have to wait and see what the popstar brings in 2008!

Madonna is so amazing, I can not think of one artist who keeps making such great singles one after another, how does she do it??? The day Madonna retires is the day the music really dies.

Wow, I didn't expect to hear the download but there it was. Very nice, can't wait to hear it on the radio. This would be a great year for Madonna to retire.  She's being inducted into the rock hall of fame, she's ending her contract with Warner Brothers, she's been in the business 25 years, one more top ten hit, and Madonna will beat Elvis Presley as the artist with the most, and finally Madonna's turning 50 this year.  Wrap it all up with a complete box set and tour bringing together all of Madonna's bodies of work.

That said, I know she is not ready to retire.  She is crazy, and that's one of the things I really like and admire about her.  I'll continue to support her, because she is amazing.  It would just be great to see her bow out while she's still on top.
