Bad Boy of Hollywood,Colin Farrell Spending Christmas With Son James

Posted by Sassy Smith

Perhaps the 'bad boy' of Hollywood, Colin Farrell has settled down a bit?

Farrell, will be spending the holidays with his son James, who suffers from a rare neuro-genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome.  The actor talked about his son's condition a few months ago and says that James is making progress and "shows amazing courage" and that he's "incredibly blessed to have him in my life."

Colin shares custody of his son with his ex-girlfriend, Kim Bordenave.

He added, "All the family will be together.  What are we going to do?  Nothing.  The usual - watch movies, eat food... take it easy."  Sounds like the same kind of holiday season most of us experience - eating too much and gaining 5lbs.

~In the Midst of an Angel~

Clint Daniel Dorsey

Many people do not ever come to the realization that angels live among us. I, on the other hand, live under the same roof as one. The angel that I am

speaking of is my little brother Clint. Clint is a very speacial individual. He was diagnosed at the age of three with the chromosonal

disorder known as Angelman Syndrome. Many people are unaware of this special disorder mainly because the fact that it is so rare.

Clint is thirteen years old and is mute (meaning he will never be able to talk). Although he does not speak words he is very vocal,

making noises all the time to let us know what he wants.

I must say how easy it would be to take for granted how fortunate we are on an everyday basis. Now some would see my little

brother as being disabled, but I would have to totally disagree. It is not that I am in denial or anything it is just I know, after living

with him for thirteen years how happy he is all the time. Besides the times when his stomach is bothering him or when he just does not

feel well, he stays in a really good mood, laughing and playing all day long. Not many people are fortunate enough to live their lives that

way. Not only does he have a good life but he makes everyone around him happy. It does not matter how bad of a day you are

having; when you get home to this special child who is playing and laughing all you have to do is sit down and play with him and you

will be put into a better mood. He will crawl up to you and just give you a big ol' bear hug whether you want it or not!

I am so lucky to have this angel in my life. Seeing him in a good mood almost all of the time really makes me be grateful for the

life that I have. I appreciate everything in my life much more than most people. I do not know what I would do without being able to

see him everyday of my life. Having Clint as my little brother really makes me an all around better person than I could ever imagine

being. By Kyle Dorsey

I would like for everyone who does not know about Angelman Syndrome to learn about it. To learn about these special

people could be very beneficial to your life personally. I would like to provide you with some Angelman information along

with my own personal experiences. I will first let you in on some Angelman Syndrome facts and then I will tell you a little bit about the Angelman Syndrome Foundation.
