If the headlines are true, then Will Smith has some explaining to do: the actor is reported to have said that Hitler was basically a good person who got his signals crossed.
Smith is quoted in a Scottish newspaper as saying, "Even Hitler didn't wake up going, 'Let me do the most evil thing I can do today.'
"I
think he woke up in the morning and using a twisted, backwards logic,
he set out to do what he thought was 'good.' Stuff like that just needs
reprogramming."
Oh, okay, so Hitler just needed Scientology. Then, you know, that little misunderstanding called the Holocaust wouldn't have happened, and maybe we could have avoided World War II. Where's L. Ron Hubbard when you need him?
Let's hope that this story is false, as Smith says that it is. Otherwise, I'm blaming Tom Cruise.
