Sting has rented one of the most expensive yachts on Sydney Harbour in Australia for New Year's Eve.  At $13,200/day, the yacht is the prime location to watch fireworks with his high profile buddies.

Included in the excursion are Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-lee Furness, and Sting's wife and 4 children.

The Police are set to play their first Australian gig at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on January 22.  The last time The Police played in Austrailia was 1984.  

Kidman once saved Jackman from a deadly scorpion sting when filming in Australia: “Nicole gasped when Hugh opened the cover invitingly to reveal a poisonous scorpion creeping up his bag. She calmly told him not to move, squatted down and scooped the creepy crawly into her hat.”

Recently, Sting and his wife Trudie, known for their wild tantric sex and rumored swinger parties, were caught by photographers in a rather private moment.  Let's hope shoes stay on at New Years.  Yuck.  The couple have children aged 12 up to 23.
