Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted out in West Hollywood the other day with a decidedly non-Reese-Witherspoony brunette. Was it a date? It looked like a date, according to an observer. "Jake waited on his friend hand and foot," said the spy, adding, "He was a real gentleman."
If it was a date, I guess we could put to rest the Jake-is-gay rumours, although these have already taken a hit from his persistence in hanging around Reese Witherspoon and her kids. Which would would be a shame for all us gossip-hags, who love speculating about who is gay almost as much as we love speculating about who is pregnant. But I suppose that a Jake's-a-cheating-cad! would be almost as good.
