Kerry Katona released statements recently about a brawl between her and her mother-in-law on New Year's Eve. The former Atomic Kitten claims her mother-in-law attacked her but Mom certainly has a different story.
Katona's Mother-in-law certainly paints a different picture. Showbiz Spy reports:
“I have to speak out. Kerry is five months’ pregnant with my new
grandchild—yet she was roaring drunk on vodka and smoking like a
chimney. Heidi was still up at midnight being passed around like a
parcel in a smoke-filled room when she should have been in bed.
“But like everyone in Kerry’s life, Heidi is just a prop for her celebrity.”
Marilyn - frightened for the safety of her grandchildren also
revealed how she found cocaine in Katona’s toilet while she was
pregnant with Heidi. Kerry, however, had previously denied snorting the
Class A drug while pregnant.
She told how the singer - who was previously married to former
Westlife star Brian McFadden, invited an MTV camera crew into her home
for Christmas against husband Mark’s wishes just so she can keep the
sham going that she’s a caring mum.
And she unveils Kerry’s chilling side, revealing how she made a sick joke at a relative’s bedside as she lay dying.
“New Year’s Eve was the last straw, says Marilyn. “Kerry’s telling
everyone how I attacked her and it is all wrong. I’m not like that at
all. It makes me feel sick.”
Marilyn attended the party at 27-year-old Kerry’s £1.2 million Cheshire mansion on Monday night with other family members.
She told Britain’s News Of The World newspaper: “When we got there
things were already in full swing downstairs in the cinema room. I got
myself a drink, the only one I had. Kerry was puffing away on menthol
cigs.
“She claims to have only a couple a day to help with her nerves but she was drinking and smoking all night.
“It was too smoky and boozy for me because I’m not a bar person so I went upstairs to talk to Mark and looked in on Heidi.
“At midnight there were fireworks in the garden and we went back
down to the cinema room. One of Kerry’s friends Pat Ferrier had Heidi
and she was just being passed around.
“It was still smoky down there so I demanded her back and Pat gave
me a look like she was going to hit me. Pat is a big woman and I’m only
5ft 2in, so I was intimidated.
“Kerry was upstairs so I went to have a word with her about it but she just started laying into me.
“I tried to explain that I was only doing the best for Heidi but she
was just swearing at me and telling me I couldn’t tell her what to do.
“She’d been drinking vodka during the evening and always had a glass on the go. Then she tried to slap me across the face.
“I instinctively put my hand up to protect myself and caught her on the nose with the palm of my hand. That was all.
She continues: “Then she really lost it. She was stood there
screaming for Mark and when he came she claimed I’d attacked her. I was
so upset that I couldn’t get my words out.
“Kerry yelled at me to get out of her house and Mark shouted at me
to go and grabbed my arm and took me outside. Kerry says all this was
being filmed by the crew doing her MTV documentary. I bet they loved it.
“But I bet that she makes sure this footage never gets aired because it will prove that I did nothing wrong.
“Her behavior beggers belief. She is five months’ pregnant. She
almost suffered a miscarriage early on in this current pregnancy.
“What’s the betting the baby is born early or with complications because of Kerry’s irresponsibility?
“No doubt that will give her another magazine cover—and she can tell the whole sorry story.”
Marilyn also went on to support claims from Katona’s own mother, as
well as the troubled star’s close friends that Kerry is a serial drug
user who took cocaine while pregnant with Heidi.
She revealed her shocking discovery - that while visiting Kerry and
son Mark at their former home in Warrington, Cheshire, at Christmas
2006 just two months before Heidi was born.
She continued: “The downstairs loo was occupied so I nipped upstairs to use the one in Mark and Kerry’s room.
“I noticed on the window sill there was some white powder dotted
about. I thought at first it was talc. Then I notice a rolled up £20
note. Then the penny dropped.
“Later I asked Mark whether she was on drugs with Heidi. He denied it but I don’t believe it.
“She claims to be bipolar which is why she suffers from these huge mood swings but I don’t think she is.
“She trots out the names of drugs she reckons she’s on but I’m
wondering if it is just cocaine. I firmly believe she’s taking drugs
now—while pregnant with my grandchild. I’d love her to prove me wrong
by having a test but I know what I believe.”
She also went on to reveal that Kerry is desperate to keep up her
Celebrity Mom of the Year image. “I begged Mark to stop her—but he
couldn’t. The documentary she’s makinfg for MTV, Kerry Katona: Crazy In
Love, came before us.
“She came running up to me and gave me a big kiss and a hug—all for
the cameras. Then we opened the presents as the cameras rolled. I was
so embarrassed and nervous. It really ruined the day for me. Again it
was just another big Kerry show of affection for the cameras.
“In reality Kerry has only ever wanted me when the nanny was off and
she couldn’t get anyone else to look after Heidi. She was always
dumping the baby on me without warning because she knew I’d look after
her properly.”
To add to the Mom of the Year image, Kerry Katona got a tattoo of Heidi's name on her neck over the holidays. MTV was there to film it all.
All I can do is shake my head. Everyone knows getting a tattoo while pregnant is a high risk activity, and is most certainly not recommended.
