Now, this story I find more believable than that Jamie-Lynn-and-Casey-Gettin'-Married rumor that I wrote about the other day. The most current rumor has it that young Master Aldridge has dumped the younger Spears girl, and is demanding a paternity test. 

According to the latest issue of In Touch Weekly, Jamie Lynn is rumored to be carrying the child of an older TV producer. (This, I don't hesitate to point out, is supported by a story that Famecrawler reported weeks ago). The source of the info? Britney.

"He wants a paternity test," Britney told a Spears family friend, according to In Touch Weekly. "Casey doesn't want to be with her until he's sure that he's the father."

Okay, so Britney's not the most reliable of sources, given, you know, the drug use and the general mental health issues. But as I noted above, this is not the first time that this story has surfaced.

I'm betting that it's true, and that we're going to see a bigger scandal before we see a wedding. Stay tuned.
