Demi Moore wants to kick some paparazzi and gossipnet ass for Britney Spears.
She told V magazine that she totally sympathizes with Britney, and that she wishes that gossips and paps would just leave her alone:
"It's become something that
has absolutely no boundaries whatsoever. With the expansion of the
internet and various blogs, it's become absolutely out of control - at
times very dangerous, certainly intrusive, and in many moments that
I've personally experienced and that friends have experienced, it's
terrifying... It's difficult when they (paparazzi) hang out at the bottom of your
street waiting for you to drive by. But no one has seen it worse than
Britney Spears... How can anyone see that and think that's
an okay way to expect anybody to live, no matter where they're at in
their life?"
I'm reluctant to challenge Demi Moore, seeing as she looks as though she could roundly kick my ass without breaking a sweat on her expertly-smoothed brow, but here's something to consider: Ms. Spears doesn't exactly try to avoid the paparazzi. In fact - a fact that should be transparent to anybody who hasn't been living under a rock recently - she seems to have very serious boundary issues when it comes to paparazzi. You know, jetting off to Mexico with them, shopping naked with them, inviting them in for drinks and restraining order perusal... that kind of thing. They're not exactly at the bottom of her street, Demi. They're actually more or less living on her doorstep, with full housekeeping service, and wondering - not so unreasonably - whether they might or might not get a chance to get into her pants. Seeing as she's treating them like pets, I'm not sure that she's looking for any sympathy about their proximity. Just sayin'.
In unrelated comment: HOLY HELL, but who does Demi's cosmetic surgery? She looks AMAZING.
