Jamie-Lynn To Give Up Baby?

Star Magazine is claiming that Jamie-Lynn Spears is planning to give up her baby for adoption.

With a cover that screams "Pregnant Jamie Lynn Giving Up Her Baby," they're suggesting that Jamie Lynn has made the "desperate decision" to have the baby but allow someone else to raise it.

Which, you know, would be fine - adoption is a perfectly legitimate option for a woman who feels that she cannot raise a child, and after watching her sister for any amount of time, Jamie Lynn has most likely had this feeling - but does anyone really believe that she'll do this?

I wondered whether she had considered this when the story first broke.  It's certainly an option if she feels comfortable with it.  I wonder how such a thing would be handled given her celebrity (if she does decide to go this route) would an adoption agency be able to keep the baby's identity/whereabouts confidential?  I would think they'd want to, no?  So many questions!

Also, to call it a 'desperate decision' sucks because frankly you know, the girl could have come to the decision from a very practical, logical place and it might not be out of desperation at all.  God forbid the girl should be seen as actually having a brain cell.
