Remember Sean Young? I didn't think so. She was big in the '80's, most notably for her role in Blade Runner and opposite Kevin Costner in No Way Out but now apparently makes a living chugging free booze and heckling people with talent. Young was kicked to the curb for disrupting the Directors Guild Awards that took place in Los Angeles on Saturday night. According to a source that was there, Young "was obviously drunk and insisted on talking loudly throughout the ceremony. At times, she was literally yelling during some of the winners' acceptance speeches."
"When she wasn't yelling, Sean would stand up, put on her white fur coat and walk around her table and then retake her seat," the source reported.
Things got heated when director Julian Schnabel took the stage to say a few words and Young shouted, "Get on with it!" A flustered Schnabel yelled back at her to "have another drink," cut short his speech and started to leave the stage. Audience members urged him to finish which he did, while Young, stumbling in her fur coat and falling to the floor at one point, was finally escorted out of the ballroom by two security guards.
Young, who has two children with ex-husband Robert Lujan, also gained some (unwanted) publicity in 1990 when she attempted to snag a role in Batman Returns by donning a home-made Catwoman costume and confronting director Tim Burton on set. Cringe.
