So, Britney's parents have gone to court to secure control over her medical care. Specifically, they've asked for a conservatorship, which would give them decision-making control over her affairs - including her financial affairs. They say it's necessary because Sam Lufti and Adnan Ghalib are squandering her assets. But Lufti says that Brit's parents just want those assets for themselves. Brit's parent's response? Get a restraining order against Lufti so that he can't get near Britney.
UGH. It's really not clear who the good guys and bad guys are here. Sadly, odds are that they're all bad. The story...

believe Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib are squandering Brit's assets." But Sam Lutfi says that Lynne is after
that money for herself.
A family source provided People
with some interesting info:
"As the money came in, the family began to fight more. If
Britney was aggravated with Lynne, maybe Bryan would side with Britney
because he was on the payroll." Now, "It doesn't seem like there's much
of a payroll, I guess they might have to get jobs like the rest of us."
The Superficial adds that a source in the Federline camp paints an interesting
picture of Sam that explains the rants Britney made about Lynne and her
boyfriend: the source says that Lutfi has been "telling Britney that
Adnan [Ghalib] and her mother have been conspiring to do this so he
looks like a savior. It's really sick and crazy."
Sick and crazy indeed. And whether it's because Sam Lufti is a sick and crazy opportunistic asshole, or because he exerts too much influence over Britney and is getting in the way of her parents' money-grubby plans, or BOTH, Lynne and Jamie Spears have managed to get a restraining order against him. So, um, they win? For now?
Twisted, twisted, twisted. I've gotten a bit too tired of the whole Britney saga to feel too much sympathy for her, but this gets me close. Is there nobody close to this girl who simply has her best interests at heart? SO. SAD.
