There's been some speculation as to how Heath Ledger's last movie will be finished.  Some reports indicated that Johnny Depp would finish the movie, but there have been no official announcements concerning that.  Director Terry Gilliam is doing his best to complete the film - The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.... in which Ledger was working on at the time of his death.  Gilliam is also designing a way to keep Heath "alive on film."

Christopher Plummer, one of the co-stars of the film said, "Terry's throwing himself into the job of trying to salvage the picture.  Terry was a very good friend [of Heath's].  He very much wants to go on with the movie, and I can very much understand why.  Because he wants to dedicate it to Heath, of course." 

There were earlier reports that Gilliam, who was deeply saddening by Heath's passing, was going to scrap the production, but he now wants to continue.  Since the movie deals with magic, there may be a way of turning Ledger into other people and using stills and the wonders of computers.
