Jennifer Lopez C-Section Today!

Um, this is like the third time I've written this story....not sure I'm believing it this time either, but hey, it's my job to report it.  I think she actually gave birth last year and the babies are now walking.

MediaTakeOut.com claimes to have: spoken with an "insider" at New York's North Shore - Long Island Jewish hospital who says the singer has a scheduled C-section today.  Ah huh.

You might want to sit by your computer because I'm sure there will be an "update" saying she has NOT given birth.  Grab some popcorn and a drink.

*Update February 22*

The babies were born early Friday morning at a hospital in Long Island, New York.  The girl, who weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz, was born at 12:12 a.m. and the boy, who weighed 6 lbs, followed his sister at  12:23 a.m.

Why would she have a c-section?  These are her first babies, right?  Oy.  I wish people would get informed.  C-sections are NOT a safe option unless medically necessary.

Unfortunately, twins cannot often be delivered without surgery. This sucks because the woman's body can deliver twins without risk. Here's to the paranoid, malpractice, fear-mongering medical society who'd rather cut a mama open and remove babies than let nature take its course...all to save their ass. True. Check it out, no conspiracy here. Just fact. Normal birth...it should be an option!

if they were 11mins apart, they werent c-sec., and if they were, well that's just weird & not very safe either

Congrats!  11 minutes apart does seem like a long time between delivering twins if they were born via c-section.  I'm sure she had fantastic medical care.  We'd love to see photos of the babies!
