Following on the heels of the Heath Ledger video controversy is this disturbing piece of news from New York Magazine: Photos of Ledger's body, taken when his body was found, are being shopped around for a six-figure sum. The article cites a quote from columnist Cindy Adams in which she cryptically writes, "Supposedly, his body was snapped," she writes, "and $300,000 is the price on that photo."
It's hard to imagine anyone thinking they could publish such photos without public outcry, but thank goodness there's always Entertainment Tonight and The Insider ready to sink to new lows in unethical behavior. Stay tuned to your TV sets.
