Brad Renfro was found dead in his apartment on January 15, after reportedly being out with friends drinking the night before. The coroner has ruled that his cause of death is the result of an accidental heroin/morphine overdose. The drugs were apparently injected. There had been speculation that Renfro had committed suicide - days before his death he had gotten a large tattoo across his back that read "F*ck y'all," however that has been ruled out.
Brad's funeral and burial were held in East Tennessee, where he grew up.
The 25-year-old actor left behind a four-year-old son, Yamato, who resides with his mom in Japan. Brad made his last movie, "The Informers" this past year and it's scheduled for release on October 30th.
