Actor Dennis Quaid, whose twins Zoe and Boone were hospitalized as newborns after a medication mix up a few months ago says, "everyone is doing great." The only down side for he and wife Kimberly is sleep depravation.
"The kids are fantastic and really healthy and happy kids." Quaid was in Santa Monica doing press for his new action thriller, Vantage Point.
"I've just been sleep-deprived... Last night, was the first night they slept all the way through the night, from 7:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m." - doing a celebration wave with his arms.
Dennis who also shares a 15-year-old son Jack Henry, with his ex wife Meg Ryan -says that parenthood the second time around is a little easier.
"Well I don't know if it's better but it's a lot easier, " he said. "It's easier in the sense that... when the first one comes along you worry about everything. The second ones come along, 'Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah that's fine, seen that, done that'...You're a little more relaxed about it. But with two, you need another arm."
Quaid joked around about not being able to tell them apart. "One's wearing blue, the other one's wearing pink. But you'd still be surprised [with] people, because they don't want to make a mistake, they go, 'Oh, that's the... a girl isn't it?"
It's great that his babies are doing so well!
