Christina Aguilera - Too Scared To Push

Posted by Sassy Smith

New mom Christina Aguilera talks about the real reason she decided to have her son by c-section:  She was too scared to push - apparently not "too posh to push," as was rumored.  Is there a difference?

Cute family pic after the jump!

Christina talked to Hello! magazine, saying she was "terrified by the idea of a natural birth."

"I'd heard horror stories about tearing.  I really wanted a calm and peaceful environment - I didn't want any surprises."  Hmm, she makes natural childbirth sound horrible.

Aguilera said her husband, record producer Jordan Bratman didn't share her fears about the birth.

"Jordan wasn't squeamish at all - he had the video camera ready to go.  The most reassuring thing for me was hearing that first beautiful cry ... I just welled up with tears."

The popstar admits that she and hubby can't take their eyes off of their new son.

"We study him, he studies us back ... it's just an unbelievable experience, the whole journey.  It's just a beautiful time in our lives."

Christina and Max are on the cover of People magazine - but don't expect to see the singer pose naked for a magazine cover.  She's turned down Playboy.

i know i know its every mothers choice, but seriously....what an ass. She wanted a calm and peaceful environment? Is it calm and peaceful now that you have a newborn?? Some of these celebrities really just live in this crazy fantasy life. I'm sure her recovery room was decked in white lillies, diet pepsi and only yellow m&m's.

if i werent so freakin pregnant right now i'de take a midol and a shot of vodka...

That's dumb.  Really.  Just dumb.  And the majority of us (thankfully) can't just say, "oh, I want a c/s please."
