NBC made a spoof movie of Knight Rider which I thankfully forgot to watch last night. I may have given it a minute if they brought in the 'Hoff, but I don't have time for these hollow remakes (see Bionic Woman). I've got a TiVo filled with Psyche and Always Sunny. I'm busy.
The controversy over the new movie, aside from the quality, was the voicing of the star, KITT, which was originally supposed to be voiced by Will Arnett. It turns out that he had a skeleton in his closet. Apparently he was involved with porn drugs prison smuggling Bionic Woman another car company at one point and NBC frowned big time. They gave the job to Val Kilmer, who let's face it, probably needed the gig more.
