JLo's VIP Hospital Stay

Posted by Sassy Smith

I totally want to give birth where Jennifer Lopez did - well, you know, if I were pregnant.  JLo is recovering in the lap of luxury!  Nothing but the best for her.  Lopez is at the Pavilion at Nine Monti, a special unit of private suites on the medical centre’s ninth floor.

Of course there is the room, which isn't a room really - it's a suite, equipped with wood floors, pretty wood cabinets to cover the ugly medical equipment that the rest of us mere mortals normally have to view when in a hospital room and a big screen TV.

There's even carpet on the floors in the hallway, to give it an "at home" feeling for patients, and by patients I mean Jennifer Lopez.  The rooms in the Pavilion have a swanky hotel-like environment and there's even a special family seating area, bottled water made available, select juices and wireless internet access.

And don't think JLo is sleeping on rough old hospital sheets.  Oh no, she's been provided with only the finest bedding, luxurious robes and fluffy towels.

Her menu is made by a chef, not Jane Doe in a blue uniform and brown hair net scooping "mystery meat" out of a big silver pot.  All her meals are served on special china.  This is the part where I finally roll my eyes.  Sorry, couldn't help myself.

A private duty nurse is on call as well and Jennifer's family and friends will also be given special treatment, including valet parking, massages, aromatherapy and reflexology - of course all of the goodies are $75 an hour.

Oh and don't forget, JLo will be wearing only the best couture during her recovery.  Just wait until her boobs start leaking on those pretty pastel gowns.  Ha!  It's great that she's still Jenny from the block.

Jennifer and her husband Mark Anthony had their twins February 22, a girl and a boy.

Im just wondering if she had an elective c section or actually gave vaginal birth. Cuz if she did then i dont mind all the other stuff so much, who gives a crap about hard wood floors and fine china when you're trying to squeeze two babys out? pain is pain and no amount of china is going to make it less pretty.

all of these posts about diva moms and fancy suites are really getting annoying.  Get over it.  Most women worldwide are lucky to have sterile equipment to cut the umbilical cord, much less anyone at all (hairnet or not) making them food.  I'm not saying our average-Jane stay in the hospital is fun or does not have its own problems, but come on.

If I had her money, I'd be staying there too.

Our local hospital has a very nice recovery room with big screen, full size bed etc- basically a hotel room.

If I had money I'd have stayed there during my recovery. Much more comfy.

I think every woman deserves such treatment after just carrying twins full term more less giving birth. C-section or vag, it hurts, screws up your body and you are exhausted.  So she can afford that stuff, big deal.  It's not like she paid someone else to have them for her which is the ultimate pathetic move.  Dont think for a minute those Hollywood wives are using surrogates because they have medical issues.  They just dont want to be bothered.  Leave J-Lo alone.  She did the work at least.  No one says a thing to those who rent wombs.

The china's a bit much, but if I could have afforded fancy sheets, gourmet meals, massage, and aromatherapy after my births? Oh *hell* yeah.

I think she had a vag delivery, given the lag time between the kiddos.  In a csection they just pull both kids out within a minute or so.

I want to be the private duty nurse, given the pay!

Ah it's not jealousy, it's snark - and I'd totally had of lived in lap of post delivery luxury too had I been able to afford it.
