There needs to be a new term for something beyond cradle robbing. 'Womb robbing' sounds too sinister. But what do you call it when a 44-year old woman with two kids dates a kid who's barely old enough to order a beer? Is it just me or does Elle look like she's hanging out with one of the cast members from a Nickelodeon show?
Word is that supermodel Elle 'The Body' Macpherson, 44, is dating Vito Schnabel, the 21-year old son of Oscar-nominated director Julian Schnabel. And it sounds like the whole thing has daddy's stamp of approval. "They’re hanging out. It’s not like he’s smuggling heroin across the border! It’s not a big deal" says the elder Schnabel.
Julian Schnabel recently made headlines when he was heckled by a drunk Sean Young while accepting a DGA award for his "Diving Bell and Butterfly."
When asked about her boy-toy Macpherson, replied, "No, I am not. Sorry. I never talk about my personal life but in this particular case, because he is nearly underage, I have to deny it because there is nothing else to do except deny it."
