Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony welcomed their twins on February 22 and there were reports of "kidnapping fears." The couple are not taking any chances and have decided to hire 12 bodyguards to be on duty 24/7 so their babies are constantly being watched.
The guards will be working eight-hour shifts in pairs around the clock at a mere $600,000 - I'm assuming that's per year? And although it might seem a bit much, they are famous babies, and maybe there are real kidnapping threats and how can you put a price on your baby's well being? JLo's got the dough, so why not? Better to be safe than sorry! Lopez has also had closed-circuit cameras installed in just about every room in their several homes.
That's not all though - the popdiva and her husband, have strategically placed dispensers of hygienic cleanser throughout the rooms. Visitors are asked to scrub themselves clean before getting near the twins. Guests are also asked to wear surgical masks.
Ha! Wait until they're on their 3rd and 4th kid - they'll pick up the baby's pacifier off the floor, wipe it on their shirt and stick it back in their mouth. Believe me, first time parents are so paranoid (I was) but by number 3, as long as they're not drinking Windex, it's all good.
