Is Paris Hilton going to become Aunty Dearest to Nicole Richie's little girl? She is flaunting a diamond-encrusted ring on her left-hand ring finger, and that ring is from Benji Madden - brother to Joel - and so what if it's, like, the gaudiest, tackiest ring in the history of world (it's shaped, if you hadn't noticed, in the form of Benji's initials)? A ring is a ring, no? And if it's sitting on the ring finger...?
Whatever. Even just thinking about Paris Hilton marrying Benji Madden and becoming an aunty to Harlow Madden exhausts my tired gossipmonger's soul. I'm already worried enough about Britney's kids. I don't have enough energy to worry about more celebrity tots and their fates at the hands of their celebrity trainwreck relatives (and in this case, we're talking about a trainwreck who reportedly kills the small animals she tires to care for.) So - although it would be interesting gossip if Paris did marry Benji? I'm actually kind of hoping that that ring is just a shameless bid for attention and means nothing.
