What was initially thought to be a suicide attempt by Heather Locklear turned out to be a bogus call made from somewhere other than the actress' home. Police and emergency crews responding to a 911 call reporting a "suicide attempt" by Locklear arrived to find her fine and completely responsive and left ten minutes later. It was not reported whether daughter Ava, 10, was with Locklear at the time.
While it's not clear who made the call, it was determined that the person was not at Locklear's home. Her rep issued the following statement:
"[I] spoke with Heather and she is fine. She never requested medical assistance and did not place a 911 call. Nor did anyone from her house call 911 or place a call requesting medical assistance."
I say that nutball Denise Richards made the call. If you remember, Denise stole Richie Sambora away from BFF Heather awhile back. She was probably listening to her old Bon Jovi albums, realized that "You Give Love a Bad Name" was about her, and started doing some drunk dialing.
