I love Sarah Jessica Parker, I really, do, but the whole aging-funky-sex-kitten-hippy look that she's been rocking on the set of the new Sex and the City movie is really getting tiresome. I mean, it's just not a good look on anyone over the age of twenty-five. Really.
A point that is amply demonstrated by Isla Fisher, who, even if she is older than twenty-five, looks more like twenty-one (one can hardly believe that she's a mom, oh my hell) and totally makes this crinolined madness look fun. Not that I'd want her to turn up at a premiere or at playgroup in it, mind, but still: it errs more on the side of wacky-silly-girls-just-wanna-have-fun (which SJP should still know something about) and less on the Barnum-and-Bailey-clown-escapes-barrel side of fashion.
