"Kristen" is Ashley Alexandra Dupre

Posted by sweatpantsmom

It just keeps getting worse for Eliot Spitzer.  After being forced to resign his post as governor earlier today, now it's being revealed that "Kristen," the alleged prostitute who Spitzer reportedly spent thousands of dollars on, is a mere three years older than his eldest daughter.

The woman, identified as Ashley Alexandra Dupre, 22, enthuses about her passion for music on her MySpace page. "I am all about my music, and my music is all about me… It flows from what I’ve been through, what I’ve seen and how I feel."  Dupre, whose real name is Ashley Youmans, lists Madonna, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, Celine Dion and Mary J. Blige as her "Top 5" MySpace friends.

Dupre, who has been subpoenaed to testify in a grand jury investigation, is a New Jersey native from a broken home who is now worried about her public image.  "I just don't want to be thought of as a monster,"  she tells The New York Times. "This has been a very difficult time. It is complicated."

Complicated? An understatement, especially when you think of what this has done to Spitzer's wife and three teenage daughters.

ashley, you ARE a monster. and your voice stinks. why don't you get a real job like everyone else? oh that's right, that doesn't fit in with your magical thinking approach to life. grow up, you idiot. hope you wind up in a small cell with lots of time on your hands to think about where you went wrong.

Wow, m - judgmental much? She's the one who did the least wrong... She had consensual sex, and happened to get paid for it.

And what's a real job to you?

Did you read the part on her myspace where she says she left abusive situations?

Maybe it's not just where she went wrong... but how she evolved out of difficult situations...

that's a big disappointment.  She's hotter on the Emperor's Club website (curiously, it says she's 24 instead of 22).  Without her makeup or those huge sunglasses, she just looks like a regular girl that I can meet anywhere.  Hell, I wouldn't pay $1000/hr for her... I wouldn't pay anything at all.

Also, who the hell cares if she's a prostitute.  All call girls have their own stories.  Fine, perhaps casual adultery isn't an ideal behavior for human beings, but that doesn't mean that the people themselves are totally immoral+monstrous.

you don't know her story, so don't judge.  Where's there's demand, there's a supply.

I don't think she's a monster for that. She made a choice and so did the governor. I am pretty sure that she did not ask for anything. It is not like she forced him to do anything. She should not take all the blame. The governor is to blame. What he did was unethical. But then again it was his choice and he is paying for it.

what's so bad? she lays on her back, let's a total stranger touch her, and performs the most intimate act for money -- over and over -- so she can live in NYC and break into the music business. by chance, she does it with a governor. it causes his downfall. the city's economy is affected by loss of leadership during a recession, during budget talks in Albany -- during a time when jobs are few and times are tough for the tax-paying, hard working morons who go to work the honest way. is it her fault that she happened to sleep with this creep? yes. she is just as much to blame for this mess as he is. she's thinking only of herself. for that, she is a monster and yes, so is he. what she does is ugly. she makes herself ugly by doing it. and it just so happens, what she and he have done has affected an entire city.

Now that is something that is going to be very hard to live with.

if men are dogs, that makes Cassie a bitch. When is this society, and women in particular, are going to understand that men are not meant to be monogamous? It is in our genes and its time for men to stop pretending that we want to be monogamous. To call us dogs, it is too simplistic. BTW, Cassie, I bet if Brat Pitt or whoever famous you have the hots for would call you for a one night stand, you would jump right in.

Finally, I don't see why prostitution should be illegal. We are already paying for the admission to your vagina. Try to have sex with a woman without dates, dinners, movies, valentine's day gifts.Let me know how that goes.

M is a small-minded asshole.  No one really wants a "regular" job, that's usually grunt work and we all want to find an easier way to make money.  This girl had a bad upbringing and made a poor choice, and for that she'll suffer the poor consequences, here and now, and well into her future.  No one should sit in judgment of her, that is God's job alone, and "he who lives without sin, shall cast the first stone".....or something like that.  Now Spitzer is another matter.  That man epitomizes the height of HYPOCRISY and deserves every punishment coming his way.  He acted self-righteous, held himself out as ethically superior, and made a career of hunting down, without mercy, prostitution rings, amongst others.  He has brought ALL of this on himself!

This all proves to me that Spitzer was far too stupid to hold the position he was in. More money than brains comes to mind. What no body realizes is that he probably only spent $143.00 everytime he saw her. I can't see him lasting more than 2 or 3 minuites per session.

The money laundering is the only thing I care about had he used his own money then this is a matter between Spitzer and his wife and nobody else should even care. Yes he is guilty of Hypocrysy last I checked thats not illegal and it is a condition that is rampant in our politicians. Ben Franklin had 100's of illegitimate children and it didnt make him a bad statesman. As for prostitution its called the oldest profession remember, Legalize and slap it with a bunch luxury taxes like cigarettes and liquor and then it will be safer for everyone involved.

God forgives, but is God pleased when someone sells or buys a person's body? I don't think so. Why glorify prostitution? What have either of these two done with the gifts God gave them? Squandered them. Who have they hurt apart from themselves. Start with their families and work your way out. The ripple effect of these two goes all the way to the state lines. As for working a regular job being grunt work and only for losers -- I think not. At the end of the day, personal dignity and a good name is all any of us have. That's something neither of these two have. Nor will they ever have.

I see Ashley as much a victim as Spitzer, his wife and family. We are all victims of this dark side. We all have it. Some choose and some can't see any other way than to live in it.

I hope Ashley finds her way out of the darkness of her past. Obviously, someone who is hurting deeply would allows themselves to be used sexually. My heart goes out to everyone involved.

I hope our world turns around at some point to the light. In the meantime, we are constantly going to hear stories like this. It serves no one to blame the people involved but to look at the bigger picture....the fall from grace in humanity!

She did nothing wrong. Atleast she was making money instead of becoming yet another person we must pay for while they do nothing. She paid taxes, bought high dollar items (good for economy) and had consensual sex with an adult. People need to grow up already and realize legalizing prostitution would help control and regulate it like in NV. Check their statistics and you will see that the arguments against it (higher rapes, drugs, etc) are just not so.
