When Botox Goes Horribly Wrong - Nicole Kidman

Posted by Sassy Smith

I'm all for moms who want to do botox or have plastic surgery - more power to them.  However, it's best if you know when to STOP.  Plus is it safe to get botox if you're pregnant?  Either way, Nicole Kidman needs to step away from the needles.

A leading Canadian botox expert has told Australian specialists that Nicole Kidman is so over-botoxed that she's giving cosmetic medicine a bad name.  She's been referred to as giving herself a "bat face."

Dr Martin Braun, one of the largest users of botox in North America, says there is no doubt that the actress has been an "enthusiastic user."  He said Kidman was "doing too much at the wrong time."

Dr Braun told AAP, "Nicole seems to get her botox done two or three weeks before a big event so when she, for instance, goes up on stage to collect her Academy Award she looks frozen and strange.

"She looks like a bat with too much of an (outer) brow lift, the middle of the brow's been dropped, she's crying when she accepts her Oscar but nothing is moving.

"These people who have extraordinary amounts of money and fame are actually getting, in my opinion, poor medical advice."

Nicole has previously denied using the anti-wrinkle treatment.

I'm not going to call Nicole a "bat face," but I do think she's attractive when she looks "more natural."

The problem with this look is that it's become a signifier for "old". So even if a woman is relatively young, like Kidman, the Botoxed look is sending the message that she's at least a decade older than she is. Irony!

Totally.  Having obvious Botox says "I'm old enough to need Botox".  I forget what she really looks like now.

She needs to end the Botox abuse, let her hair go curly and natural, and then she'll looks like a real person (and a pretty one too). Keith, listen to all us readers. End the madness!

I'm not for "all for moms who want to botox..." and especially not actresses who are moms...and especially not multimillion dollar earning ones.

They are paid to ACT, to make expressions over and over again, if they want to retire or take up another trade fine, but acting and botox are antithetical!

I used to watch her movies but some time after The Interpreter I couldn't stand how her vanity is affecting her acting.

And she didn't just have botox, she has fat transfer in her lips which were always quite thin and gave her a gum showing smile (which has obviously bothered her for a long time b/c about 4/5 yrs ago you can see her mouth get fuller which the opposite of what happens with aging!), exactly like her unadulterated sister's.

What really offends me about her is that she actually said she was "all natural!"

I don't know anyone, male or female, who likes Nicole Kidman, or believes her disingenuous statement that she is "completely natural". She has clearly had the works - botox, IPL, fillers, a nose job and probably cheek and breast implants. Her rampant and obvious narcissism has destroyed any acting credibility and appeal she may once have had. I find her false, calculating, vain and hugely overrated.
