Ryan Phillipe has nothing but good things to say about fathering daughter Ava, 8, and son Deacon, 4, but finding the balance between his kids and work can be a challenge we all face as parents.
"My kids are great," said the actor at the Stop-Loss
press day in Beverly Hills. "[I'm] writing right now ... I finished
[Franklyn], a really cool film in London, at the beginning of the
winter. And yeah, man, no complaints."
It hasn't always been easy -- especially following his divorce from actress Reese Witherspoon in 2006.
"You
feel like a bad father," the actor admitted. "Last night, I got home
exhausted ... At the end of a press junket, literally you don't want to
talk anymore. And I felt like a mute father."
I think we all go through that at the end of a harrowing or particularly demanding day.
